Let’s get acquainted
Servant leadership is in my DNA. I’ve spent more than 20 years in healthcare building employee education and leadership development programs that help people grow, thrive and foster meaningful connections in the workplace. I understand the pressure leaders face to show up strong in the midst of uncertain change that at times can feel relentless. I help my clients navigate that uncertainty in a way that’s grounded in their values, rather than reactive in the moment.
Born and raised in Boston, I bring compassion, tough-love, New England pragmatism and the right amount of levity to my coaching practice. I’m a certified 300-hour yoga instructor, a self-described recovering perfectionist, and a lifelong learner. I’m also a wife, a mom, a thrill-ride junkie, and fan of Formula 1 racing. I find peace pulling weeds in the garden and taking walks with my canine kid.
I hold an MBA from Boston University and a BS in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College. I serve on the board of the American Management Association and stay involved in my community through my church and a local community development nonprofit.
My Journey
I’ve always admired, and frankly somewhat envied, those who early on, could confidently answer the question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
For me, the path was anything but linear. I started junior college uncertain what career path to pursue. Writing came more intuitively than math, so I leaned into it. Upon the completion of my freshman year, my father passed away after a long-term illness. That moment shifted everything. I joined the Army, completed their journalism program, and served three years of active duty as a journalist.
That experience gave me direction. I worked my way through college, earned a journalism degree, and started a career in public and community relations. Eventually, I transitioned to human resources partnering with leaders to promote employee growth and leadership development.
I believe my life experience has prepared me for my purpose: helping others realize their full potential to make meaningful contributions to the world...their “why.”
Coaching changed the way I see myself and my work . . . and that clarity is what inspired me to become a credentialed coach. I invite you to contact me to see what coaching can do for you!
